Crutch

Same story line as the Tim Allen show that is on now, but this with way worse characters. He is a widower whose kids come to live with him (along with the grandkids), of course. Couldn't understand all of what Tracy was saying and what I did wasn't funny. No redeeming characters on this show at all. Don't waste your time.

I've watched a few shows with Tracy Morgan and thought him to be reasonably entertaining usually. This show just feels like nobody was actually interested in making it watchable. The story was incredibly weak, the laughs were just not there at all and the way the show was presented felt flat and lacklustre. I expected something of the likes of the Last OG but this show is far from that standard.

It was just terrible. Tracy Morgan used to be so funny, but this show is so formulated that it will make you cringe. It's just not good.

I so wanted to like it - when I found it on Paramount I was stoked. Then I binged the entire show and it actually kept getting worse. The sister-in-law has the personality of an eggplant, but I think she was supposed to be the voice of reason and Cousin Esther at the same time.

What a shame - but I still love Tracy Morgan!!

This was supposed to be like a spin-off of The Neighborhood but it's a drastic fail. Within 2 minutes of episode 1, i knew this show was a miss. Tracey Morgan is just not funny in this, the cast isn't string. Calvin and Tina made a debut in ep 1 but that was the best part of the show.

Im so disappointed because with them canceling The Neighborhood, I was looking forward to seeing them make this into a hit but it's a staggering disappointment. You can tell they'l just wrote a bunch of unfunny lines hoping they'd stick.

Im upset.

I enjoyed the show. Watched the entire season and it ended on a nice cliffhanger. Always love watching shows that depict minority families in a good light. They had very real problems that a lot of families go through. The supporting cast really rounded out the show. The style of the show also gave a very 80s/90s sitcom which proved to be very nostalgic. Curious how the show got bad reviews the same day it released. So did these folks watch the whole season or 15 min of the first slow episode and decide to do a review? My advice. Watch for yourself and enjoy the ride.
