Much Fun
Season 1 - 8/10: The writing is not perfect, but it's not like I ever expected it to be. The characters are fun and the themes are great. Dev gets a little annoying by the end, but Sig, Servo and Jedi Bob are great original characters (I know Jedi Bob existed before, but not like this). Though the best aspect of the writing is how they managed to twist existing characters. Palpatine, Vader, Maul are extremely fun and Darth Jar Jar? Are you kidding me? The dialogues are very expository, which threw me out at times.
The directing is good, this is well-put together and the cinematography is pretty good as well. The editing resembles the style of the original trilogy, which is loved. The sound design is great and they also used some iconic effects. The score is absolutely worthy of Star Wars. Michael Kramer has done a fantastic job at mixing original score with John Williams' iconic themes. The cast is pretty insane for a LEGO series that only a few hardcore fans watch. The voice acting performances are all solid, but Sam Witwer should get awards for his line deliveries.
Season 2 - 7/10: The writing has even more exposition here. The first two episodes were on the same level as the best parts of season one, but the two latter episodes were quite boring to me.
The visuals are still good, but I felt like this season was even more stop motion-like. I wonder if this was on purpose or maybe they worked with less than 24 frames per second. The score is still as good, Michael Kramer should work on bigger projects in the franchise. The cast is still great and they even added some new members who I was excited to hear again.
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy is a lot of fun, but I think they should not continue it.
The best star wars show since Andor
Without spoiling anything:
1. Hilarious 'cameo's' from all of your favourite characters including some original cast members from all three trilogies as well as a few of the tv shows. Also keep an eye out for some non-star wars characters popping up in the background too.
2. an actual story that is both entertaining and fun.
3. a huge amount of easter eggs, not only for star wars fans but lego fans in general.
4. Darth Jar Jar is as amazing as he looks in the trailer, but one of the Jedi is even more insanely cool.
The hype is real, not just space.
Perfect for fans of Lego and Star Wars!
The plot is quite good for such a cartoon; it is very easy to watch, with episodes lasting about 20 minutes flying by in a single breath. However, I found the series to be a bit too short. If it had two more episodes filled with even more references and jokes about Lego and Star Wars, it would have been better. Personally, I felt it lacked depth, but I think they did this to avoid overloading the series with fan service and possibly left room for a couple more seasons, as the foundation for continuation is excellent.
For some reason, the series was not received as warmly here as it was abroad. Perhaps it was because people were expecting a full Lego movie, but the trailer made it clear that this is more episodic. Also, the series gifted us some wonderful Lego sets featuring the Millennium Falcon, and just for that, it deserves an extra point.
In conclusion: an excellent, fun Lego cartoon based on Star Wars for one evening. It is available in good Russian voiceover, already laid out in the green store. However, it can also be watched in the original version, as Mark Hamill voiced his part there.
8/10.

6.if you love Lego Star Wars and grew up with the theme, movie, etc this series is the right one for you!!!!!

- TriviaThe animators created a LEGO-brick version of hyperspace, which involved designing a star field and the hyperspeed effect using LEGO studs. This creative approach gave the animation a unique and true-to-LEGO feel.
- Quotes
Luke Skywalker: Let me see if I have this right. In your galaxy, my dad is mostly evil until he turns good for like five minutes and then dies, my own nephew betrays me and kills most of my best friends, and I spend decades alone until I use the Force so hard that it kills me?
Sig Greebling: Well, when he puts it that way.
