    Grim

There is little about the plot I can reveal without spoiling, but it's safe to say that it continues the intense mind-games between characters very well. The writers philosophise with strong dialogue between the likes of Lecter and Graham. Plus the build up towards an inevitable confrontation unfolds perfectly.

Everything leads to a ghastly final horror sequence that is not for the sensitive nor weak of stomach. There is nothing about this scene that is entertaining, but you have to admire the gruesome effects for how appallingly grim they are, even when mostly obscured by darkness.

It is a chapter of which the cinematographers, art design and visual effects department should be proud.

For me it's an 8.5/10, but I round upwards.

    The episode will became hannibal

Will in this episode is drastically trying to hang on to him humanity but by the bloody end I realized his arc wasn't becoming a good man it was becoming a new hannibal

    Outstanding

    Good

The craziest episode of them all. This episode, will BECOMES Hannibal. Hannibal has gone completely off the rails. Even though it has gotten to far fetched, I love it.

    I had to look away!

This episode was a wild journey and a perfect set-up for the finale! However thid episode also contained the most brutal, stomachturning and crazy scene yet!

This episode proves just how complex the relationship between Hannibal and Will! Its nothing like your usual relationship and therefore it is clear that you should not expect the usual outcome! After all this time, they are more intertwined... than friends.. or foes!

The final scene with Mason was.. yeah go see it for yourself! Mason has proved himself very unlikeable at this point, so it was a treat to see Hannibal go all out and show just how dark his tendensies can be!

This last scene also marks an important point in the relationship between Will and Hannibal!

Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) says "discourtesy is unspeakably ugly to me." Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) also says this in The Silence of the Lambs (1991).
    • Quotes

Dr. Bedelia Du Maurier: If you think you're about to catch Hannibal, that's because he wants you to think that. Don't fool yourself into thinking he's not in control of what's happening.
