Visual effects were provided by Rayon FX, as well as a team of freelance digital artists led by visual effects veteran Benoit Brière.
Xavier Martinez drew inspiration from George Lucas' "THX 1138" (1971) as well as "Logan's Run" (1976) when developing the film. According to him, one goal of the film is to capture the essence of 1970s dystopian science fiction and apply it to a vision of the near future as imagined in the 2020s.
