A very beautiful historical romance drama. The character designs are very novel. Their mutual probing is quite interesting. The female lead pretends to be coquettish, while the male lead pretends to be fond of her. Then both of them are both attracted and have to restrain themselves to continue with their tasks. Every time they pretend, I can't help but burst into giggles.

Liu Xueyi's portrayal of the cunning and scheming regent was quite refreshing. Every expression was perfectly timed. Meng Ziyi's princess was intelligent and rational, a rare type of female protagonist. The two engaged in intense competition and appreciated each other.
