This is the emotion and life of everyday happening in Tamil Nadu. It is sad, in current period, that buying a house is made the life time goal for current times. Previously joint family created savings and co-inhabitation made them achieve other valuable things to the Society. In this film
Prabhu's (Siddharth) family with parents in Sarathkumar and Devayani and a very energetic sister, face one problem after another and how they overcome is the story.
The attempt by director to subtly pinpoint the 'norm' of aiming at HSC marks and how averages discourage anybody who has no interest in this rat race. Story portrays how all family members just compromise their ambitions, creativity and own strengths to just be like how others live, in the name of sacrificing for this and that.
It is not one direct story- but every ups and downs that family face each stage of their family lives.
When the goal is achieved, how many mental boundaries and societal norms and escape from servitude and exploitation they overcome is a remarkable lesson we all have to have as take home message, rather than the remembrance of victory. A small ambition of education for big salary and to buy home made generations as slaves, inept and self defeating. This story tells that, but are we listening?
I am sure the bubbly, enthusiastic and decisive Meetha Raghunath as Aarthy will get many films, based on this great performance.
Chaithra J. Achar as Aishwarya is emotional outlet and subtle encouragement for Prabbu (Sidharth). Sidharth role is very difficult and peculiar in recent times. He did justification with his natural acting without any dramatic big emotions. We see an ordinary youth in our neighbourhood in him and not a hero. This is the success of the film. Sarath Kumar, with few word dialogues convey exactly what is important for this film's success. Devayani with minimal dialogue had to deliver through facial expressions that she did very well.
I recommend you to see and please take the message and be united as family and happy and go not as rat racers for flats as success goals.

This review expresses my deep feelings about the movie:
From beginning to end, it evokes a soft, loving sensation. The cast was excellently selected for each role, and everyone was given their moment to shine at just the right time.
* The film demonstrates that hard work pays off and emphasizes the importance of perseverance.

This movie isn't for everyone. But if you relate to the characters or any part of the story, you simply can't take your eyes off it.
3BHK revolves around a middle class family tired of shifting between rented houses, dreaming of building a home of their own. But life, as always, has other plans.
It beautifully captures the everyday struggles of middle-class families who work relentlessly with the hope of moving to a better place in life. And when life knocks them down, they don't give up, They just can't give up. The weight on their shoulders won't let them. They adjust, they sacrifice, and they keep moving forward with hope.
It hits you with the truth that life is not easy, and it's not fair for everyone. We are blessed with what we have now, but this is not the time to stop and relax. We have to keep moving forward with resilience.
3BHK overwhelms you with a mix of emotions sorrow, happiness, anger, and above all, hope.

Revolving around a middle class family that dreams of having their own house someday, 3BHK is an emotional family drama that many people will be able to relate with themselves.
The film portrays an honest, if not accurate, portrayal of a middle class family that goes through a lot in their personal lives, to grow and buy a house for themselves. Siddharth as Prabhu was a good act as an underperforming son, while the rest of the cast did a good job too.
The only thorn was the uneven pacing and multiple time skips throughout the movie. I just feel like the characters and their struggles could have been explored a little more. At 140 minutes, the film feels a little stretched out, given the story of the film. While I praise the film for it's story and emotional value, the plot itself was formulaic and functional.
Overall, 3BHK is a relatable story brought to the screen with good characters and emotional depth; but required more than formulaic treatment. Still, this movie deserves to be seen more..!!
My Rating : 3.5/5.
