A very solid episode in a very solid season, but it felt strangely rushed in the last couple of minutes. I find it hard to believe they can wrap up all the storylines satisfactorily in the final episode. It also seems odd that we still don't know whether it will be renewed for a fourth season. Please Apple!
The show has built up to the point where every major character has an interesting storyline. That's quite impressive, and it gives the show a real narrative drive that was lacking in the first two, more convoluted seasons. Don't get me wrong, I loved those seasons as well, but they had to go through a lot of timelines to get to where we are now, where each story complements the others beautifully.

Foundation has become my favourite show, this season has been spectacular. I realised this week that it's the only show I watch that appears to have the budget and creative freedom to put what they want on screen. The scope is huge. There seems to be an unlimited amount of sets and space for them act in. They have creative shots for simple speaking scenes. Many of the actors give movie level performances. Every scene is beautiful.
All of the different storylines are interesting and exciting, and manage to be very different in tone, style and general vibes to each other and I always feel like I want a little more when it switches to another.
Gaal is becoming hard as nails and is finally showing the attitude of a main character. Her scenes with the Mule were excellent. I'm really enjoying Dusk's arc and performance, it's a shame Dawn has had to take a bit of a backseat for it but he has truly personified Empire for me this season. Missed Beta this week, loved that Toran missed her too. I'm expecting a fiery reunion.
I can't wait to see what happens when Day and Demerzel meet up. Her backstory and her character remind me of some of Alastair Reynolds' work, just another nod to great works of sci-fi.
I'm sad the season is almost over but I'm looking forward to what has to surely be a busy finale. Maybe the creators could spin off into an Asimov Robots prequel series so I can have more of this beautiful spectacle? Fingers crossed.
