    King Ray

Fatal Identity is an 8-10/10 for me, it is quite the pleasant surprise. I went in to this expecting bad acting, bad writing, just an overall bad movie. Instead I was granted better than bad acting, better than bad writing, and Ray. Ray was the real star of this film. The actor for Ray (Drew McConnell) portrayed the misunderstood character to perfection. When you first meet Ray he is creepy and shifty, the characters are disgusted and disturbed by him. But as the film goes on you realize how misunderstood Ray is as a person. In reality he's loving and protective of those he holds dear and will go to great lengths to protect those he cares about. Every scene I felt just needed more Ray, or at least the kind of writing and care that was put into his character. The film is at its best and most glorious when Ray is on the screen stealing the audiences attention from any other character in the scene. Although, I will say the only person that can manage to share the screen with Ray is Jessica who is played by Alyssa Gonzalez. The chemistry the two characters have is phenomenally crafted, especially in comparison to the other characters in the film. I do hope a sequel ends up being made with Ray playing a more shown off role. I feel Ray's role in the film is more subtle than the other characters but still integral towards moving the plot forward, I just hope if they do get a sequel Ray is more easily seen as an important character. I do not know why Drew McConnell didn't put his role in Fatal Identity on his IMDb page because I feel this film gives a strong baseline and buoy for the potential career he could build. I believe everyone in this film is underrated and is bound to go distances. I had a great time watching this film and plan to share it with many friends and family members. The plot twist was also so well crafted, I was completely caught off guard! I thought I knew what it was going to be but then the film took that and said, "No, that's too obvious, this is what it really is!" Overall Fatal Identity is a pleasant surprise that was added to the Tubi catalogue and I hope it one day will move to more popular platforms. You can really tell how much pure compassion went into the writing of the characters, especially into Ray who I think is a top 10 character of all time for me. The plot and its twist were also very pleasant to watch and I'd say it was a top 5 plot twist that I've ever seen. I hope this film and its actors get more recognition and move farther in their acting careers. Great job by everybody who worked on this film, they are bound for greatness!
