Pretty Good
Someone mentioned how this reminded them of the show Graceland and I definitely agree because of the joint law enforcement task force. Only thing I didn't like was how the season was set up. One plot ended about halfway through the season and then it started another one and ended on a cliffhanger. Hope it's getting a second season cause that season ending was a big gamble.
Great for 9 episodes
This is one of the best shows for a while and I can't fault any of the actors, they all give great performances.
I was really glad the first story was resolved because I hate it when they string you along and then you don't get a proper ending until they make another series, which unfortunately is what they've done with the second story.
The Old cliffhanger trick should be consigned to the past because unfortunately so many shows get cancelled nowadays for various reasons that very often we never get another series so we're left with a terrible unfinished story.
I really hope that doesn't happen here but in this day and age they should complete the story satisfactorily every series just in case they don't make any more.
For this reason I have deducted a point from my score and another point for various plot holes which I won't go into now so as to avoid spoilers.
Also a point deducted for my pet hate which is all too prevalent nowadays and responsible for ruining potentially great shows, that being the ridiculous trend to have different directors of episodes! It's a recipe for disaster and here there at least 8 different directors throughout 13 episodes which is just crazy. I can only assume it's because the makers want lots of their friends to get some easy money and extra on their CV's so do them a favour.
Unfortunately it doesn't help any series because they all have different ideas and it ruins the flow of the story and in many cases it makes you wonder if they've even seen the other episodes!?

Bad form...
How can you leave season 1 on a huge cliffhanger and the show has not been renewed? That's Bad Form. Now we have to hope Amazon picks this up, which is highly doubtful since the review score is under 7. Jessica Camacho was awesome in this show. Ackles, he was outstanding. Just hate the way the series ended. BAD FORM!
Acting much better than the writing
The writing of dialogue and scenes varied from poor to very good throughout the first 13 episodes. As others have stated, the series stopped in the middle of a core story line. Did the production get cut short or were producers and writers short-changing viewers by the way things were left at the end? The cast did a professional job, others not so much.
Inaccurate portrayal of Singaporeans
Ep11 - Majority of Singaporeans speak English! I think the writers were thinking of Indonesian or Malaysian nationals?!
Other than that, I do appreciate the great audio production (mix sounds amazing) and lighting and video work is stellar.
Storyline is rather predictable. However Jensen Ackles makes things entertaining. He's stuck with it since Dark Angel and season after season of Supernatural. That earns him my respect.

Did you know
- TriviaJessica Camacho and Violett Beane both work as supporting characters but shared no scenes together on The Flash (2014) as Gypsy (aka Cynthia Reynolds) and Jesse Wells (aka Jesse Quick) respectively. They were both meta humans that were part of Team Flash to help save the day. By time the series ended, both characters died.
- GoofsSeries is described as a "secret task force" working "undercover" yet they are all driving a classic law enforcement "Black SUV".
