    Going in the wrong direction

The series is fresh, clever and overall comprises a good quality of writing, acting and directing. The concept of no soundtracks or any music in the background is brilliant and it lets the audience feel their feelings uniquely.

However, it seems as if the episodes are going on a downhill. Not very steeply but slowly. At this episode for example, it tries a bit too much to be a tear jerker and in the critical scenes there is, on the background, hints of dramatic music. Also, there are just piches of social messages and virtue signalling.

I hope this is not a trend but a one time thing. I would hate to see a show with such a promise to be ruined by the increase of the elements mentioned above, that has the power of ruining any good show.

    Tough Decisions

This one has a lot of tough decisions made by doctors who have to bend the rules a bit when the chips are down. We have a teenager who comes in for an abortion and seemingly having the permission of her mother--not so simple as that.

The betting continues on the stolen ambulance.

The sickle cell patient must make a major decision which is ultimately a life or death one.

The kid who comes into the ER is really boring and serves no purpose whatsoever.

And the young doctor who lost a patient has the chance to do something to reaffirm his position. He also sets the world replacing bloody scrubs.

Finally, I wish the guy who can't accept tha this is a drama--a story, could back off on his misogyny. Obviously, he can't accept that women are capable of doing medical work.

    Good TV

I really like this show so far, it's got emotional story lines and decent acting. I'm invested in the characters and I really like the structure of the show (the whole season taking place over one day, each episode being an hour of their shift). Also helps I'm from the burgh lol, so it's cool to see all the local stuff. It has its downsides and bumps just like most medical shows. Lots of repetitive tropes and such, but overall I think it's fun, and this episode was my favorite so far. Also what's the deal with weird the incel-esque reviews for some of these episodes. Bro very obviously hates women and is mad that this show doesn't. It's weird.
