First of all. The animal cruelty thing is absurd. Those are street rats, probably full of disease. This is a hospital. Imagine a bite from one of them on a patient who is in serious condition. We didn't see the guy actually kill the rat. It is implied. If they had used traps would that have made a difference. Remember that's a farm kid who probably deals with animals all the time. My friends had cats that took care of the problem.
That said, we also have some very racist things going on in these comments. We're all entitled to our opinions, but this is a show. There are people of all persuasions in this show. Now they are complaining that the big abusive guy is white. He is a character in a TV show. Remember that this show is hour by hour. He is the one chosen as the antagonist. If he were black, this guy wouldn't have said a word. Sucker punching that woman was beyond acceptable.
Santos' issues are not so simple. She has antagonized all kinds of people. Langdon has a thin skin and had no right to go ballistic on her. He has some personal issues that we have only been introduced to.
The whole business with the woman who may be trafficked was over the top. At some point, after exhausting all measures, you have to back off. World saving can only go so far.
I thought the accusation of the treatment of the overweight woman from the car accident was unfair. Maybe a bit of careless initial treatment based on basic medical science overlooks things. They did finally figure it out.
Great episode!!
