The work of the divine. The endeavors of humanity.

First, a round of applause and a heartfelt hug for such a beautiful epilogue.

The masterful performances by Noah Wyle, Shawn Hatosy, and Katherine LaNasa were so captivating, I felt I could watch their conversations forever.

A truly great story always leaves something behind for the future-hope, anxiety, and the quiet moments of everyday life.

I'm deeply grateful to John Wells as well. You always manage to thrill us, to stir our emotions, to anchor our hearts.

I watched this show every week from Japan, always looking forward to each episode. I'm sure there are many others around the world like me.

Thank you all. I wish you happiness.

    Bye-bye. See you again (*´-'*)

    An Excellent Season Finale

What an emotional rollercoaster this show has been. Hats off to all those involved in the creation of The Pitt for allowing us to experience some of the realities that our healthcare workers experience on a daily basis.

How these doctors, nurses, EMTs, etc. Can have a day like this and still return to work the next day, without knowing what is going to come through the door, simply amazes me. I am grateful for people who dedicate their lives to care of others.

This episode wrapped up the shift from hell with many questions answered, but many left for the next season, which I can't wait to see. An excellent finale to a truly great show.

    Tied Up With String

It isn't that I didn't enjoy this episode. I just felt that it was a little vanilla. It's as if so many things needed to be wrapped up, so everyone is happy. Robbie is filled with guilt because he is being blamed for the death of the girlfriend. Those that watched the show know he never gave up. He was literally pulled away because even after her death he tried dramatic measure. He is also embarrassed about falling apart for a few minutes in a room. But he makes a superb speech to the day crew who went through hell. And they are there a hundred percent. Others celebrated at the end, but tomorrow is another day. I hope I'm around to see Season Two.

It's just another Thursday for you.

That's what we were taught in college; the worst day in their life is just another Thursday for you.

Today, it was the worst day for everyone.

I said it last week, but this season was simply extraordinary.

Watching the doctors calmly work problem solving on Hector and actually discuss a workaround plan for him was like being back at work and watching my colleagues work their magic.

Dr. Abbot is still a shining star, Dr. Santos is working her way to being one of the most thoughtful physicians in the department, despite her prickly beginnings. I'd also like to see more of Dr. Shen and his calming demeanor next season.

So, until next season... Goodnight, get some rest, tomorrow is another day.

    about people-heroes

This is a discovery, an impressive series "The Pitt" - about people-heroes who voluntarily choose to be in hell every shift so that others can feel a little better.

Each episode is one hour in the emergency room. And the whole season is a work shift. Chaos, blood, saving lives depends on instant decisions on the edge, and no one can get out of the game.

I watched and thought all the time: who are these people who return there again and again? They are definitely superhumans , their courage is to stand between death and the patient and buy time for at least one more breath.

For me, doctors are those people who stay when it's scary, difficult, and sometimes too late. And it's amazing.

Watch if you want to feel what real courage looks like.

And yes, doctors should have salaries like judges, no less.
