The villagers of Jambu know Okim as the advisor and patron of the Lenong association called "Setia Menanti". Okim has a son named Ilham who works as a mechanic in a car repair shop. Meanwhile, his wife runs a stall at the madrasa. They live a simple life after the Lenong orchestra went bankrupt. When they were in their prime, the Setia Menanti Lenong orchestra was often invited by TV to perform. They even made a special program. But unfortunately, due to the lack of ratings, their show was discontinued. Okim and his family are now trying to survive, despite their modest income. One day, Okim, who also works as a teacher at an elementary school, was announced to receive an award from the governor as a Betawi cultural preservation figure. Mr. Dudung the head of neighborhood in the village of Jambu, Markasan, did not accept that Okim was the one who got the award. Because according to him, he is more qualified. Markasan and his wife Omeh were even more hurt when they heard the news that Okim had appeared on television and won the Rp 100 million prize. They began to spread rumors that Okim and his family had taken the money for personal use.
