Brimming with tension "Sunset" introduces a group of misfit teens who are more than a little underprepared for the seemingly familiar, yet supernatural force lurking in the attic. In just one scene the film captures the essence of 1980s horror- skillfully blending practical effects, low-key lighting, makeup artistry, and a haunting synthesized soundtrack. Showcasing just a small cast of characters it's clear that "Sunset" has been directed to echo the days of movies like "The Lost Boys", channeling both nostalgic charm and a fresh energy.

In Albuquerque, New Mexico--where the sunsets are as cinematic as the stories waiting to be told--I am excited to see more from this group of passionate filmmakers who are eager to create an ecosystem where local talent can thrive.
