I quite appreciate the message behind this short film.

Both actors did a good job, however the overall storytelling could have been better if the Director had focused in moments of silence to add depth to the story.

It made me want to see more of their lives, I understand it's difficult to portray it all in a short film, but I can picture the potential for this to turn into a feature.

Sound heighten powerful moments to some scenes and I could use more movement.

In terms of cinematography, they did a decent job.

Said all that, the script could have brough more value to the storytelling helping enhance the story even more.

I didn't enjoy this short film. The plot felt overly simplistic and, frankly, quite dull.

I'm also perplexed by the modern trend among creators to focus so heavily on childhood trauma. While it's a theme that can be deeply emotional, here it seems to be used as a blunt instrument rather than a nuanced exploration.

The director appears focused on creating an emotional impact, but seems unaware of the value of quieter, more introspective moments that can add depth to a drama. Not every scene needs to be an emotional outburst.

The male protagonist's performance feels forced-his acting comes across as overdone, inauthentic, and predictable. The direction should have tempered this, encouraging him to integrate his performance more seamlessly with the rest of the cast, rather than drawing attention solely to himself.

Additionally, the cinematography was disappointing. It was overly dark, and the composition often felt off, which detracted from the overall visual storytelling.
