Based on a Japanese light novel series written by Tsukikage and illustrated by Chyko. Tsukikage began writing the series on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2018. Micro Magazine began publishing the title under its GC Novels imprint in August that year, featuring illustrations by Chyko. The 11th volume shipped on February 29, 2024.
The original light novel spawned a manga adaptation by Rai Hebino that began serializing on the ComicWalker website in April 2019. Kadokawa published the ninth volume on February 26, 2024.
