It is the German remake of the comedy "Ghosts", that follows restless spirits quarrel in an abandoned manor, dismayed when a couple inherits it, intending to transform the house into a lavish hotel.
Young couple Emma and Felix, who have inherit an old mansion, decide to turn it into a hotel, but after a near-death accident, Emma begins seeing ghosts. The bizarre and chaotic apparitions include neanderthal Urs, Roman legionnaire Claudius, Countess Adelheid, feminist maid Griet, insurance salesman Joachim, teacher Svenni and love-hungry poet Friedrich Dorn.
