This movie claims to expose many events in China, but in reality, it has no understanding of these events and its story is inconsistent. The characters are too dull and the plot is too straightforward. It doesn't feel like a thriller at all and it completely failed to pique my interest. I gave it 3 stars because, for God's sake, I don't recommend it to anyone.

The acting is as immature as a student's homework. The male and female leads remained expressionless throughout the scene, and their interactions appeared awkward, stiff, and exceedingly dull. The dialogue lacks emotional depth, thereby undermining the efforts of the supporting cast. Films with such overt political overtones tend to lack broad appeal.
The plot is too exaggerated and confusing, and the plot cannot be connected at all, so I gave it a two-point rating. It is a very bad movie. I suggest that those who have not watched it should not watch it. There is no need to waste time. Go and watch other more exciting movies. Another point is that this movie is made up and I feel it is fake.

I really enjoyed the movie! It was so compelling and had me on the edge of my seat. I was genuinely surprised by some moments when I watched it in the cinema. It's a fantastic piece of work that really gets you thinking. The director brings a fresh perspective and sheds light on a lesser-known side of the epidemic. Definitely worth a watch!

The film's pacing is superb, immersing viewers in a palpable sense of urgency, helplessness, and oppression as the protagonist struggles. When juxtaposed with real-world events, it becomes chillingly unsettling upon reflection. This is far more than mere entertainment. It compels us to confront deeper truths.

I was very impressed by this movie. I was often on the edge of my seat during the action scenes. The characters were well developed and the acting was excellent. The movie was suspenseful. I would like to see it again and would highly recommend it to others. The portrayal of the Chinese Communist Party gave me a good sense of what things must be like for those living in China, especially when they try to oppose party leadership. This movie needs to be seen by more people!

I watched the movie yesterday in Toronto. I can't tell my appreciations to the producers and directors. Many scenes in it, including the epidemic outbreak, the lockdown, and the national mourning of the doctor, are what we experienced in person when we were in China, and I am so deeply touched! We should never forget this history, the whole world should never forget this history! I want to tell every one: go to watch the movie! Every Chinese, everyone in the world should understand what evils had caused the epidemic that make so many people lost their loves, their friends and even their own lives. Should we let this happen again??!!

This film was ridiculously overhyped, but when I actually watched it, I almost threw up. How did something this terrible even make it to theaters? What a complete waste of the audience's time. I honestly wonder if the producers were out of their minds - there's no real acting, no coherent plot, nothing of value. If I ever run into another film like this, I might give up on movies altogether. It was such a bad experience, it almost gave me a phobia. I believe over 90% of the audience probably felt the same way. Honestly, viewers should be compensated for the mental distress this film caused.

My friend also watched the film THE UNRESTRICTED WAR and said it's comparable to a Hollywood blockbuster. It reveals real situations that reflect reality but remain unknown to many people. The film has just been released, and it's likely that more people will see it in the future. I hope many others get the chance to watch it, so everyone can join in the discussion. I won't go into details about the plot - it's much more interesting to see it for yourself. This story is truly worth watching. The cinematography is of high quality, and the actors deliver very convincing performances. The twists and turns in the plot are gripping and had me on the edge of my seat. The ending is very satisfying.

I watched Unrestricted Warfare was under special circumstances-I couldn't turn on the sound and had to finish the entire film in complete silence. You know this made me more focused on the actors' expressions, their movements, and the details of each scene. Without sound, I experienced a different kind of immersion.
The film itself carries an atmosphere of tension, and watching it silently only amplified that feeling. The subtle glances between characters, the small but meaningful gestures, and the shifts in the environment all conveyed a deeper sense of intensity.
From a production standpoint, the film is solid in terms of cinematography and atmosphere. Even without sound, it holds the viewer's attention and delivers the story effectively. The actors' performances also withstand the "silent test," rich in detail and never empty.
For anyone who wants to experience film from a different perspective, Unrestricted Warfare is worth watching.
I'll definitely rewatch it, this time with the sound on. I will also strongly recommend this film, because I know its content is even better.

This is a very thought-provoking film. I was touched by the story. Thanks so much to the director and all the staff for their courage, great job! We really need to see this truth, especially in this day and age. I hope more people have the opportunity to see this film. Hope this film can be played on more platform and n more theatres around the world..
This is the most realistic movie I've ever seen. It's an artistic "documentary" that cleverly weaves together real-life stories and characters from Chinese society. While the film combines these individuals into a single narrative for dramatic effect, every character and their background story is based on countless real cases that have happened in China.
The movie objectively and profoundly showcases the true state of modern China. It reveals how the **personal interests of ordinary people are co-opted and sacrificed for the so-called "group interests."** What's more thought-provoking is that it exposes a deeper, more brutal reality: the **"personal interests" of certain high-ranking officials are amplified by the system and repackaged as "group interests."** Meanwhile, the **"group interests" of the general public are fragmented into "personal interests" by the state-controlled media**, which then demands that individuals sacrifice their own benefit.
Perhaps the film has some shortcomings in its artistic execution, but its significance far exceeds that of a simple entertainment piece. It doesn't rely on artistic exaggeration or lazy stereotypes. It calmly and truthfully presents the reality that only those who grew up in China and have managed to escape that "cage" can look back and truly see.
This movie's value lies in its ability to force us to confront reality. It serves as a mirror for us to reflect and awaken.

If you're interested in political thrillers that engage with recent history, censorship, and science, The Unrestricted War is definitely worth watching. It may not fully succeed in balancing subtlety with urgency, and it does lean toward polemic, but it delivers enough tension, topical relevance, and emotional moments to make it compelling.

I recently watched this movie during an event at the Capitol Hill. The Unrestricted War is a courageous and thought-provoking movie that accurately portrays the Chinese Communist Party's unscrupulous tactics and disregard for human dignity. What makes this film so impactful is that it transcends fiction-the story resonates with real-world events and reveals patterns of manipulation and coercion that continue to affect people globally.
It is disheartening to see how some theaters were pressured into screening the film under duress, as well as how organized campaigns of negative reviews have surfaced here. Many of these criticisms appear insincere, as if written by those who may not have even watched the movie but were motivated by propaganda-driven agendas.
Despite this, the film itself stands as a testament to truth. It sheds light on injustice and offers audiences the chance to reflect deeply on the value of integrity, compassion, and freedom. I encourage viewers to watch with an open heart and judge for themselves.
