Fasting

In this episode Mr Khan goes to the Sparkhill Jamiya Mosque. He is praying with a number of men most of them his friends and they are on their knees kind of flat in a prayer position. The men sit up and think Khan is still praying, until you hear him snoring.

Khan goes to the main office with his friends and starts to eat. They talk about fasting. He does not want to fast. He puts a boiled egg in his mouth. Another group of men come in to the office that Khan wants to impress. He does not want to fast but he does. He can't talked to them because he has the whole boiled egg in his mouth and then he takes it out and puts it in his friend's pocket. He says so many funny things it is hard to fathom where Adil Ray the creator and actor that plays Mr Khan get these ideas from.

This episode is also about his daughter Shazia who is getting a job and going to India, this would leave her boyfriend Amjad alone for a year. Khan tries to get a loan to keep her here so him and his wife could give her money for an apartment when she gets married.

Khan ends up at a place trying to get a loan. He is so hungry he drinks almost all the water in a water jug in the waiting room and then has to go to the bathroom. A man puts a sign on the bathroom door just as he is about to go in that says "Out of order".

There are lots funny parts in this he, struggles in the loan office because he got nowhere to go to the bathroom. He tells the loan agent he does not want his daughter to go to India and that is why he wants the loan. He talks bad about India and then the loan officer tell his his wife is from India.

Well anyway it has a nice ending.
