The short premiered at the Beyond the Beaten Path Film Festival and was also accepted into the SoCal Film Festival on the rough cut. The locked picture version screened at the SoCal Film Festival and was nominated for Best Director- Rachel Howard, Best Cinematography- Russell Carpenter and Best Actor- Emilio Rivera. A huge honor to be nominated for 3 of the 4 top categories as well as for Short.
The crew was a mix of seasoned professionals, such as Oscar winning DP Russell Carpenter to newcomers from the InnerCity Filmmakers non-profit where Russell volunteers, to everyone in between.
The production was nicknamed 'Potluck Productions' because everyone brought all of their gear to the shoot. If you needed it, someone had it in the car.
