I have to say that this is one of the best films I've watched in years, everyone involved was just amazing and special Shootout to Zeda Always Bring the Bang Zhang who just stole the show with her beauty , poise and true talent .Everything she touches is just pure gold. I can't wait to see what else this amazing cast has up it's sleeve.

Oh this film was crazy! I did not expect it to turn out the way it did and left me at the edge of my seat. The end was such a cliff hanger and I have so many questions. I look forward to seeing more of this film. The storyline is also unique. I never thought of female professional wrestlers and mma women having to go through this. It seems like it was written on real experience and not just a made up story.
The short film targeted some subjects that can relate with the viewer especially in the world of sports as a woman. From the beginning I was stunned by the storyline that was being told...as time went on I was hooked on it. Online dating...that right there to me was gripping as well as a topic I was familiar with. When I began watching, I did not know what to expect, I just knew that the short film would include so much suspense that I could not turn away from. I want to take this time to give major props to Julia Zhang, not only for supplying the drama, but it is such a fun watch to see an athlete live their life normally just like any individual would do once they retired. Lastly, I just want to say to any viewer wanting to check out Split Open: Enjoy the Ride because it does give action, suspense, a little bit of comedy. Most of all, it can connect with the audience.
I highly recommend this film and while I am adding it: I also recommend checking out the lead actress, Julia Zhang, in other featured films.
Worth The Watch!

I attended LA fest and saw this short. It was one of the best, if not THE best. Everything from the acting to the storyline to the cliff hanger had me anticipating what was going to happen next. Hats off to all the people involved in the film! I was lucky enough to talk to some of the people from the cast and I am shocked at the budget they were able to get this done with. It looks like a big budget production. It just shows the team all came together and knew what they were doing. I look forward to more of this!
Split Open surprised me in the best way. In such a short time, it touched on so many real and relatable topics like, women in sports, friendship, family, and online dating. It had everything: serious moments that made me think, funny scenes that made me laugh, and even a bit of a thriller vibe that kept me on the edge of my seat. The story moved fast, but it never felt rushed.
I would absolutely love to see this turned into a full series or a feature film. There's so much more to explore with these characters and their world. Huge kudos to the creators, great writing, great acting, and a fresh take on modern life.
