This show may only have a singular, three-minute episode released as of now... but this one was awful. If you thought Mr. Birchum was lousy, then you are in for a real treat.
The show stars some old man who is trapped at home due to "the liberal technology" or whatever... Dude could easily just destroy the device that locks him at his house.
The humor is also dull, to the point where they added a laugh track (I get the Flintstones had one, but the 60s were a different time...).
If you want to watch a good cartoon with a heroic Republican protagonist, just watch King of the Hill instead. Hank Hill would run circles around this old Grandpa.

What can anyone say about this atrocity of the Internet. The audio engineering is beyond amateurish and takes you out of the piece before it's barely begun. The voice work was absolutely terrible.
The animation's okay but this is CRINGEY and STEALS concept points from 'All in the Family' & dishonors it with 6th-grade level humor. The humour (all based on conservative talking points) is not even funny on the one level it presents itself.
I make this assessment as someone with over 40 yrs in production, from scriptwriting, voice-over (yes, in animation), audio engineer, photography, and videographer.
Pass on this disaster. It is a shallow, humourless political shots that would be found entertaining only by the most poorly educated. There is better political animation out there.
The lack of stars comes from "The New Norm" being a very bad production and has nothing to do with political leanings.

"The New Norm" is, without a doubt, the absolute worst show ever made. It's a masterclass in how not to create television. The show is completely humorless, lacking any semblance of wit or cleverness. The jokes, if they can be called that, fall flat every time, leading to an overwhelmingly cringey viewing experience. The characters are one-dimensional and wholly unlikable, making it impossible to care about their pointless, meandering storylines. The plot is a mess, devoid of any direction or purpose, leaving viewers wondering why they even bothered to start watching. It's an exercise in frustration, as each episode drags on with no payoff or entertainment value. "The New Norm" is downright unwatchable and should be avoided at all costs. Save your time and watch something-anything-else.
It's obvious what they are trying to do, but these aren't professional comedians or writers so... it doesn't work at all. There is no subtlety or nuance, it's just standard political talking point after talking point. They even had to utilize a laugh track... on an animated show in 2024... because they knew the audience needed to be prompted when to laugh as the material isn't capable of doing that on its own. Shows like these and "comedians" like JP Sears and "intellectuals" like Dave Rubin are why all conservatives are now a laughing stock... even the rational ones are feeling the stain of these maga morons. Soooo many people can't tell that they are being ideologically grifted, they believe anything that shifts responsibility for their problems on to other people. They can't take cultural change so they blame the culture for doing what it always does over time - change. Keep up or sit this one out... just stop pretending it's the world's fault for not agreeing with you and everyone not totally in sync is evil. That's a "you" problem.
These people have one joke, and everything else might as well be an old man yelling at a cloud.
We get it, y'all think gender identity is silly, get over it already. There isn't any sort of witty humor here, it's just like if your average republican managed to get their hands on a really good AI video generator, and used a laundry list of their thoughts as the script to get THIS.
It's bad enough when they try to use a laugh track on an actual sitcom, but putting a laugh track in an animated show, to force jokes that are already forced and uninspired?
If you like Matt Walsh and Ben Shapiro, this was made for you, have fun with your echo-chamber I guess.
