On the End

We attended the premiere of "On the End" at the Hampton International Film Festival and thoroughly enjoyed this film. It was a moving story that the talented actors drew us into with their passionate portrayal of the characters. Part of the beauty was that we were taken through a range of emotions as the relationship between Tom and Freckles grew. It was so poignant to see the evolution of a true love story between a man so rough around the edges and a woman down on her luck. You could tell everyone watching this movie had their heart in this film and was rooting for Tom and Freckles as you could hear us laugh in unison at funny moments, shed tears together at tender points and burst into applause to show support for an action we were pleased with.

This was a great film I would definitely recommend to my friends!

I had the pleasure of attending the world premiere of On The End at the Hamptons International Film Festival, and it's honestly the best movie I've seen in some time. Watching this film-an unexpected love story set against a David-and-Goliath battle of corporate greed-didn't even feel like watching a movie; it felt like witnessing two oddly yet perfectly matched social outcasts fall deeply in love despite everything the world threw at them.

Every single performance from this stellar cast was absolutely superb-and had me captivated from the start. Tim Blake Nelson and Mireille Enos ARE Tom and Freckles. You feel EVERYTHING they feel-the laughter, the tears. The incredible Lois Smith proves once again why she's such an icon. Desmin Borges' range is on full display as a nervous, well-meaning, small-town lawyer who both makes you laugh AND tugs at your heartstrings, as does Matthew Maher. And Anna Chlumsky is perfectly cast, providing hilarious comic relief.

This movie is a true underdog story that will capture your heart from beginning to end. I can't wait for broader audiences to discover it-highly recommend!

Saw this at the Woodstock film festival. Gripping performances and powerful story line. Based on a true story about an auto mechanic out twords tip of Long Island who finds the love of his life and courage to fight to save his property. The writing directing and acting are top notch and kept the laughter and tears coming. Hopefully this film will pick up some awards. Congratulations to the director. Great film Ari !!!

Was very lucky to see this at the film festival. Great acting performances and emotionally touching film keeps you glued to the screen. My whole family went and none of the seven members had anything bad to say about the film. Between the laughter and tears we all agreed we probably chose the best film of the week. I certainly wouldn't be shocked to see some of the cast win awards. Congratulations to the director. Great Job!!
