Into the Amazon with Robson Green

I didn't really know what to expect when I started watching this documentary however when the first episode ended I was waiting, waiting for the next. It is a beautiful three part series and shows how much of the rainforests have been taken out, which is nowhere near as many as I had read about. The millions of people yes millions who live along the Amazon really do care for the environment.

Having not been there myself I can only give my comments on what I have seen here. There are still thousands upon thousands of fish in the river even though the inhabitants do fish for them to eat. Exotic birds are also plentiful but of course not as many. The fish. There didn't seem to be many wild animals but I am not aware what could have been there. There were a few monkeys and of course the hippos which no one is actually sure how they got there and managed to survive

A pleasant series worth watching.
