Ibiza Narcos

I watched Ibiza Narcos after finishing Amsterdam Narcos and loved it. The episodes each felt distinctive, with their own stories and pace, which kept it fresh the whole way through. What impressed me most was how they managed to get people involved who spoke so openly it gave the series a raw, honest feel. Combined with the stunning shots of Ibiza, it felt gripping and unforgettable.

Amateurish doesn't quite go far enough. The three episodes are hashed together with odd repetition scattered between them. There is not real plot or story across the documentary and the remake scenes are bizarre, lack context and don't work. Episode 2 actually shows "next episode" snippets of Episode 1 which is a production oversight.

It's well marketed and advertised to the point where I paid for NowTV just to watch it. I clearly now regret this.

Not up to the standard of a normal Sky production and doesn't do their future pipeline of documentaries any favours.

Avoid and save your time and money.
