    Discombobulating

First of all this film is literally JUST the concert ( which i saw the tour live) No pre gig or post footage , which i was expecting and would have liked to have seen. Pre gig footage would have made the film a whole lot better and more interesting. Also would have got you more excited for the concert to start. The filming was very erratic , each frame only lasts two seconds max then changes to the next angle, which makes it kind of hard to watch. I found myself closing my eyes just to get them back into synch. The sound though was fantastic and very clear. Having said that it did take me back to that night at the roundhouse London and a fantastic night.

Next best thing to being there

It was great to be able to see Babymetal on the big screen with awesome sound. It was the next best thing to being there. It was an awesome setlist, with all the amazing visuals and crowd interaction you'd expect from one of their Japanese arena shows. The girl's performance was awesome as ever.

A couple of complaints. In post-production, they inserted several artificial flaws to simulate an old-time analog film reel, which I found a bit distracting. Also, some of the edits were happening so quickly that there wasn't time enough to process what I was seeing.

This isn't Babymetal's most important show ever, nor is it close to being the biggest crowd that they've played to in Japan. Chances are, if you're a Babymetal fan, this won't end up being your favorite concert. What it is, is a great big screen experience for those of us who will never be fortunate enough to see them live in Japan.

    • Trivia
The number 43 derived from Shisa (can be pronounced same as 4-3 in Japanese), divine creature in myth of Okinawa where concert took place. Shisa, also known as shi shi dog, looks like a mix of a dog and lion. Shisa statue usually sit in front of building, guarding the place from disaster, villanious soul and so on. There is a huge Shisa head in the back of the stage in the end of runway.
