Dexter: Original Sin

Edit

Continuity

In Episode 8, Dexter crashes a truck into a telephone pole, but later, there is no visible damage to the vehicle.
When Harry arrives at Laura's house looking for her it's dark outside, yet when he checks the spilled paint to see if it's still wet sunlight can be seen shining through the living room window's curtains.

Plot holes

Character error

After arriving at the cartel house, Dexter and Tanya are standing in the street watching the SWAT unit enter the house. However they are standing in front of one of the police cars forming the outer perimeter, which uniform officers use to contain the scene, and provide covering fire for the SWAT unit if needed. Dexter is standing directly in front of the officer taking cover behind the car, and is directly in his line-of-fire, the officer even has his gun pointed at Dexter. Secondary personnel like forensics would be kept behind the perimeter line until SWAT had secured the scene, they wouldn't be allowed to just stand in the line-of-fire, and an officer wouldn't be pointing his weapon directly at one of them.
