    How wonderful

It has been some time since I had seen work of such fine quality and exquisite casting, seasonal work as yet unfinished; What I saw was enough to surprise me. Awesome production and deep dialogues with a brilliant embodiment of the eras of church tyranny, and the escalation of the story in interesting new dimensions, and it is the first time I see a work in which the idea is to carry the banner of heroism. "Chi: Chikyuu no Undou ni Tsuite" is a masterpiece that seamlessly combines science, philosophy, and humanity. The anime's thought-provoking narrative explores humanity's relentless pursuit of truth, often against the odds of societal norms and ignorance. Its beautifully crafted animation and rich character development immerse viewers in a historical yet timeless journey. Chi isn't just a story-it's an ode to the courage of intellectual curiosity and the unwavering human spirit to understand the universe. A truly inspiring and intellectually rewarding experience!

Theology, Philosophy and Astronomy driven by interesting characters

If you are interested in questions of faith, philosophy and the history of astronomy in medieval times, this one is for you.

The characters are very well written and have convincing themes and motivations. Their actions are relatable and the plot is overall well paced, understandable while maintaining a high amount of tension.

Visually the highlight of this series is the gorgeous shots of the nightsky. Overall i would say it has a decent quality of animation and an even better than decent overall 'style'.

My one missing star is due to some scenes including torture. The series does not attempt to make the torture a 'selling point'; it feels like more of a necessary evil of the setting; yet for my taste they could have cut away (even more than they already do) in some scenes.

    Peak Fiction

Just a friendly reminder: this show is labeled as fiction and was never intended to be historically accurate. The plot summaries on IMDb and MAL don't explicitly address this point. To emphasize its fictional nature and alternative universe setting, the author deliberately uses terms like "P Country" and "C Religion" in the first seven volumes of the manga.

If you're wondering why the events in these volumes don't align with historical facts, it's because the author intentionally crafted the story this way.

As for why the church in the show aggressively opposes heliocentrism-a stance that doesn't reflect actual history-this will be explained later in the story.

Deeply moving story with incredible characters

Ever since I saw the first PV for Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, I've been cautiously optimistic that this could be a sleeper hit of the Fall season. Animated by Madhouse (HunterxHunter, Frieren), Orb is dazzling to behold. The night skies and warm colors are captivating, and the characters' motivations and actions are clear, convincing, and wonderfully fleshed out. The music by Kensuke Ushio adds a layer to the show that helps the emotions hit harder and the scenery pop!

As a 25 episode anime, I'm hopeful we will get a full adaptation of this award winning manga! If you are interested in character-driven, emotionally hard-hitting anime like Vinland Saga or Frieren, give Orb a try and enjoy the ride!

    This anime touches your heart.

Imagine the world where we humans still believed God and they lived on the religion.

Imagine the world most of you don't have even an access to the book or any written source.

Imagine among that majority, there were some handful number of people wanted to "know" the truth of the world and pursue science.

This anime gives you a sense of how human moved the history and evolved. The source of their motivation was very pure. They don't have Google or Facebook. Even reading and writing are the special skill.

That's why, if you can imagine that, you will be touched. Human pure curiosity is very powerful.

It is very philosophical anime and great for adults.
