One of the best Nepali movie ever made loved it

Review of Nepali Movie Hrashwo Deergha (2024)

Hrashwo Deergha a sensational Nepali film released in 2024, has captivated audiences worldwide with its gripping narrative, powerful performances, and breathtaking direction. Earning a staggering worldwide gross of $9,00,000 usd , it has proven to be a superhit that transcended boundaries and gained recognition beyond Nepali cinema.

The movie's plot is nothing short of extraordinary. Set against the backdrop of Nepali culture and tradition, Hrashwo Deergha explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the quest for identity. The film introduces viewers to a complex storyline that intertwines personal struggles with larger societal issues, making it not only entertaining but thought-provoking. The depth and richness of the plot keep the audience on the edge of their seats, and every twist and turn adds a new layer to the emotional journey.

The performances in Hrashwo Deergha are nothing short of stellar. The lead actors have poured their heart and soul into their roles, bringing an authentic, emotional intensity that resonates with the audience. Their on-screen chemistry is palpable, creating a bond so powerful that it feels real. Each character is intricately developed, and the actors have done justice to their portrayals, making the audience empathize with their struggles, joys, and heartaches. The supporting cast also shines, enhancing the overall emotional depth and complexity of the film. Every actor plays their part with such dedication that it's hard to believe this is a fictional world we are witnessing on screen.

The direction and cinematography in Hrashwo Deergha deserve special mention. The visual storytelling is as compelling as the narrative itself, with breathtaking shots of the Nepali landscape that immerse the viewer into the heart of the story. The director's ability to create suspense, manage dramatic tension, and highlight the film's emotional highs and lows is commendable. The movie's pacing is spot-on, keeping viewers engaged without feeling rushed or dragged out.

The soundtrack also complements the mood of the film beautifully, enhancing key moments and adding layers to the emotional impact. The music, carefully selected to resonate with the audience, is a testament to the thoughtful approach taken by the filmmakers.

In conclusion, Hrashwo Deergha is a cinematic masterpiece that pushes the boundaries of Nepali cinema. With its unforgettable storyline, stellar performances, and expert direction, it is a film that will stay in the hearts and minds of viewers for years to come. A definite must-watch!

    Disappointing Experience

This has to be the worst Nepali movie I've ever watched-a complete waste of time and money. The acting by the lead pair, Harihar and Neeta Dhungana, is abysmally poor, making it hard to stay engaged. Their performances are so unconvincing that you'll find yourself yawning through most of the scenes.

What's worse, the movie has no story to speak of. It's as if the writers forgot that a compelling plot is essential to captivate the audience. Even with the inclusion of South Indian actors-who are known for their exceptional talent-the movie utterly failed to utilize their potential.

Overall, this movie is a huge letdown. Save yourself the disappointment and skip this one.

One of the best movie ever made in nepal

We have watched this movie in Birgunj and theatre was housefull and we didn't get tickets for 3-4 days even in Birgunj where Nepali movies doesn't work well.

I loved each characterisation and way of story telling.

Inspite there was sarangi making all over housefull even though this movie made his own record for not being released in holidays and done great and became of the superhit movie of 2024.

We should appreciate effort by this movie team specially director and producers who made this history by bringing top Indian and South Indian actors in nepal.

I love this movie and my entire family loved this movie.

    HONEST REVIEW

    1. Story: Wait, What Story?

The movie starts nowhere and ends nowhere.

Characters are confused about their own purpose.

By the time the climax arrives, you won't even care anymore.

    2. Acting: Painful to Watch

The lead actor shows two emotions: sleepy and lost.

The supporting actors look like they didn't want to be there either.

Dialogues are so unnatural, even AI could do better.

    3. Cinematography: Feels Like a Home Video

Random camera angles that make no sense.

Shaky shots gave me a headache.

    4. Music: Please Make It Stop

Songs that make your neighbor's wedding music sound good.

Lyrics so meaningless, you'd prefer silence.

Background score? More like background noise.

    5. Length: Never-Ending Torture

Every scene feels 10 minutes longer than it needs to be.

Even the clock in the theater gave up ticking.

    6. Special Effects: Straight from the 90s

Explosions look like someone threw red powder in the air.

    7. Audience Reaction: Regret Everywhere

Those who watched full either fell asleep or were scrolling TikTok.

    8. Final Verdict:

Watching Raswa Dirgha is like sitting in traffic for 3 hours-frustrating, boring, and a complete waste of time.

If you love yourself, don't watch this movie. Even staring at the ceiling is a better use of your day.

Recommendation: Avoid. Even if someone offers free tickets, run in the opposite direction!

    Disjointed

This movie is like a group of clips mashed together rather than a movie , it would be more accurate to call it an 3 hour long trailer, where moving form one scene to another, the abrupt cut , jump in story and incoherent details cause that viewer to be continuously confused. The movie either has no story or so much of story that it cannot be contained in 3 hours, Hence when viewing the move you feel the storytelling is rushed. Even with the powerful line up of the South Indian stars, they are not able to fully assimilate with the movie story and scenes, in more details while the comedy scenes individually are very enjoyable, we can clearly see the difference in the way that our Nepalese actors play and the way the South Indian actors play, even the dialogue delivery and emotions they express for the same situation are different.

All in all , this could have been a chance to become a great movie but collapsed as a uneven tower of Jenga. It can be view as a football team that signed all the star players but the coordination was so bad that they would lose to even a third division team . It would have been better if they would release more scenes without caring the 3 hour limit of movies maybe that would have allowed enough room for the story telling them be more smoother and coherent.

All people who have yet to watch the move do be prepared to be faced with a box of jigsaw puzzle with pieces missing as that's how the story plays out.
