Truly villainous antagonists!
(12+) The reviews are a little harsh in my opinion, this is not a "6" anime by any stretch! The female receptionist was adorable, completely amazing, and hilarious in her single-minded pursuit not to work any overtime! It was ridiculous at times, yes, but a lot of anime is, right? I thought this series packed a punch and had a lot of likeable characters and the dark gods were REALLY cool! Especially the twin girls... so eerie! The "Silver Swords" were great, and I liked the idea of a generational group of adventurers that champions the guilds interests. This was a good anime, and I definitely recommend it!

Lighthearted, yet amazing and refreshing anime!
"I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time" has quickly become one of my new favorite anime series and I'd definitely recommend this to anyone that's looking for a likeable and lighthearted, yet interesting anime .
Initially, I was skeptical about the long title, thinking it might be just another generic isekai or fantasy. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find an engaging and lighthearted plot that kept me coming back for more. Usually, the guild receptionist is rarely talked about in other anime, so this one being focused on a receptionist is quite refreshing in the genre. The story follows Alina as she battles various dungeon bosses in her quest to escape the grind of overtime. The humor in the series is delightful and adds an enjoyable layer to the storyline, making it easy to stay hooked. The supporting characters, like Jade and Lululee, fit perfectly into the narrative and create a lively atmosphere. I found Alina's character relatable, as her struggles with managing work and finding time for herself resonate with anyone who has faced the stress of overtime. Sometimes, I wish I could solve all my overtime and other problems with a giant sledgehammer like Alina can too. I also appreciated the unique and stunning character designs throughout the series along with the beautiful visuals. Overall, this anime has become a favorite of mine, and I've even bought the light novel to keep up with the story. Really hoping for a Season 2!

I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I'll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time
In this fantasy anime Alina Clover wants an easy life so she became a receptionist at the adventurers' guild; unfortunately she is constantly having to work overtime. This becomes more troublesome when adventurers are involved in particularly difficult quests. There is something few people know about her though; she has a powerful skill that is far greater than any the adventurers possess. So, in an attempt to reduce her overtime she dons a cloak and becomes 'The Executioner' and defeats powerful foes with ease!
I thought this series was rather fun; it was a refreshing change to have a protagonist who isn't desperate for adventure. The situation leads to both humorous situations and exciting moments. Alina is a good lead character and the support is fun too; most notably Jade Scrade, who has fallen for her and fellow receptionist Laila, for is a fan of 'The Executioner'. Later on it gets more run of the mill as she and friends are forced to take on an unexpected danger. Overall a fun series that I'd recommend to fans of fantasy anime even if it isn't quite a must see.

Very Generic
Very Generic Anime. Super strong girl and all the men are wimpy or weak. Same jokes you've seen done before in every other type of anime like this. The animation is pretty good but the story isn't interesting because it adds nothing new.
The main character Is very unlikable and has an annoying irritable personality which makes you not all that interested in her. She treats everyone like garbage and is rather condescending towards them. Not exactly a fun main character to follow behind. The running gag of her being a workaholic that wants to not end up working overtime gets extremely tiring as it's not even a funny gag to begin with.
I could see this as a generic cutesy "overly strong angry anime girl vs. The world" animie for those interested in that kind of genre but the series lacks originality. A lot of these "long title" Anime's (as I like to call them) usually seem to suffer from just not being very good in general.
I've see a few of these types of anime's now and every single last one of them is well...really generic and boring. This one is really no different. My best way to describe it is as a bunch of tired anime jokes and character profiles you've seen before in pretty much every anime done in this art style.
I'm not sure who this series would appeal too. Maybe audiences that are brand new to anime might appreciate it. For seasoned veterans is rather generic, uninteresting and bland. It's just not an anime I found myself caring for at all.
