Summaries

  • A crime committed on May 31, 2014, in Waukesha, USA. Two 12-year-old girls, Anissa Weier and Morgan Geyser, lured their friend Payton Leitner into the woods, where Geyser stabbed her 19 times in an attempt to "appease" the fictional character Slender Man. The victim survived, crawling to the road where she was found and taken to the hospital. During the investigation, it was discovered that Geyser suffered from schizophrenia, which she had not previously been diagnosed with. Three to four years later, in 2017 and 2018, Weier and Geyser were found not guilty by reason of mental illness and were sent to psychiatric hospitals for terms ranging from 25 years to life and 40 years to life. Weier was granted parole on September 13, 2021. She will be on supervised release until she turns 37. On October 24, 2019, more than five years after the attack, Leitner gave her first interview. The incident sparked a major debate about the role of the Internet in society and its impact on children. The site Creepypasta Wiki, where the girls learned about Slenderman, was blocked in all Waukesha schools. In response to the attack, the community held a 24-hour YouTube stream and raised $4,730 for Leitner. The Year is 2024. Leitner Goes into the woods to record The documentary about her 2 killers, But She didn't know that the character Slender Man really existed...
