So nice to see Jensen Ackles , playing big brother, eating, driving a black Impala....welcome home "Dean". Love the chemistry between the brothers
More please. So many fun moments and Easter eggs. The bad reviews are puzzling. Did they watch the episide? Sometimes TV should just be fun and entertaining. I think this show is going in the right direction, sometimes very serious, sometimes just for fun. 15 season of Supernatural used this formula--it works. We don't get enough quality TV anymore that kids can watch. It's also nice to have a show you can. Jump into and watch without having to know all the back stories. Yes, there are some interesting angles yet to be explored and some plot lines to reveal but you can jump in and enjoy a standalone episode.
The first episode of season 2 was already really bad throwing viewers into the cold water by introducing premises we never heard of before. As if a set of brand new writers has been hired who never bothered to watch the first season. And yes, vthis season seems to completely discontinue the tone and realism set in the first season.
The second episode was just so bad, I dont know what to say. All of a sudden this is a trashy and cheap scify show? Also, the effects: him and his brother driving in a Cabriolet and not a single hair moving on their heads? Plus the tracker looks like death warmed up in this one.
What happened to this once pretty down to earth show?

This episode was nowhere near up to the high quality of those of the first season. It was written very poorly, and to be brutally honest, was stupid. And the relationship between the brothers is incredibly dumb and somewhat annoying... people don't talk like that in real life. I felt like the writers were trying to make the bros act "so cute" with each other, and nothing more. I realize that Tracker is not real, but I believe it is possible to make it more realistic and be entertaining at the same time. I'm hoping for much better in the remaining episodes.
Justin Hartley is excellent in this role. I would not be disappointed if his brother does not return to the show. .

This episode was, I want to say implausible, but stupid characterizes it better. Maybe they always meant to do this but now they've taken a good show and replaced it with a bad version of The X-Files. I suppose they might try to recover the show by pretending that this episode never happened but they'll have to forget his family background too. If they don't, every mention, will remind us of this derailing. What a shame. Not sure if I'll watch again but if I do, I won't have the respect for it that I had before. I wonder if anyone associated with the show tried to stop this suicide mission. Too bad they failed.

Fans of X-Files and Supernatural will find this episode pretty great what with all the tie-ins to those two shows. You might want to watch it a second (or a third!) time to catch them all.
Colter shares a lighter side of his character in this episode, which involves his big brother, Russ, played perfectly by Jensen Ackles. Ackles who has many, MANY years of Supernatural experience perfecting a sublime big brother; while he might resent the compliment, he shouldn't - he was born for these kind of roles.
This has been one of THE BEST episodes that Tracker has released. Tending to portray Colter as a serious fellow, adding some humor definitely raises the bar. Good job!

- TriviaWhen Colter is dropped off to pick up his truck, Russel remarks, "This baby doesn't drive on gravel." In Supernatural (2005), Jensen Ackles's Dean Winchester affectionately refers to his car as Baby.
- GoofsWhen Colter and Russell are driving in the car, their hair is not being disturbed by the wind even though they are in a convertible. This is due to the car being pulled on a trailer during filming.
