The tenants have been given a cryptic task by Professor Tham - Love Thy Neighbour. Their attempts to know their neighbours are disastrous. The guys are constantly treated with suspicion and the girls cakes infuriates the neighbours.

The four tenants are visited by a National Environmental Officer. Joshua, Dinesh and Lee panic as they fear they will be penalised for the state that the flat is in. They try a variety of methods to dissuade him from inspecting the flat.

Professor Tham gets fed up with the tenants addiction to the Internet and changes the Wifi password. Things are made worse when Gary also steals all their smartphones. In the absence of technology, the tenants beings to interact more.

The four head down to career fair, where Maya and Joshua receive a reality check and learn a lesson on managing their expectations. Lee attempts to drown her sorrows in alcohol-laced cake after a date with Martin goes wrong.

Martin instigates a distraught Joshua to punish Dinesh for sleeping with his sister. Martin delivers the last rule of Tham - kick one person out of the house or fail the whole module together.

Professor Tham is forced to reveal her experiment and wager to her four experiment subjects. Despite Professor Tham's offer for them to continue staying in the house, they part ways. The four of them successfully graduate.
