I greatly welcome Ariel Demure's successful attempt to bring back the spirit of the late '90s, with this lush tribute to Greek mythology.
My favorite Adult Cinema era is around the turn of this century, when budgets peaked, DVD began to replace VHS, and companies like Adam and Eve, Sin City and Wicked were making romantic, artistic porn features. Gonzo was already plentiful, but had not crowded out nearly everything else yet. Creative directors were at work: the Mikes (Zen, Raven and Ninn) and the Nic(k)s (Orleans, Steele, Cramer).
With a rather witty script, she takes a decidedly feminist approach to a Bacchanalian tale of a trio of Gorgon sisters (Demure, Jade Venus and Tori Easton) rebelling against the Greek Gods Apollo (trans-male Austin Spears) and Dionysus (Gay Porn star Michael Boston) to turn an outdoor wine party with nine beautiful muses into an all-trans-female orgy. (One muse not having sex is Gia Gunn a/k/a Gia Ichikawa, a transvestite famous from Rupaul's Drag Race series.) She also gets to briefly lecture the muses on the tyranny of the Gods' patriarchy, and the need to find inner strength, rather than be subservient to them for protection.
In line with the current decline in viewer appreciation of artistic-oriented (read: story-driven and with characterization) porn, the 54-minute feature that debuted last year on OnlyFans and more recently has been made available on VOD also exists in an edited 42-minute version that gets right down to the real nitty gritty, namely the XXX orgy content.
The full movie has a delightful 6-minute credits sequence intro which identifies all the characters and shows off Ariel's glamorous costuming, and styling, all within a PG-13 format that recalls soft porn days of old: not showing any nipples (yes, falsies on the cast) or dicks, saving that for later. The orgy is well-staged with plenty of trans on trans action, climaxing literally in Ariel's cum shot. She ends the show reciting a dirty limerick mocking the Gods.
For fans it's a treat to see so many of their favorite TS superstars looking so fine, with quality makeup, hairstyles and anachronistic costuming (watch for high heels and even a wristwatch!).
