In 2012 a young, San Jose mom started a blog, documenting her journey after getting a devastating diagnosis of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She was beautiful, bubbly, and charismatic, with two beautiful sons and a handsome, supportive husband. The blog quickly took off as she went through treatment after treatment. She wrote about being told she would not live to see her 30th birthday. But despite the terminal prognosis, Amanda C. Riley became a beacon of hope, bravery, and perseverance. Her faith in God and her compelling testimony made her a celebrity at the mega-church she and her husband regularly attended. She had a gift of immediately connecting with people, and they wanted to help-donating money, airline points, gift cards, and food deliveries. In 2015, investigative producer Nancy Moscatiello got a tip from an anonymous source who told her that things were not adding up.
