So after the not-so-great start to the season, and a pretty decent second episode, the third one has much more to offer.
Kayvan Novak carries this episode with his great acting and a pretty wild Nixon impression that I'm still not sure if it was actually him or it was dubbed. The range of voice this guy has is insane honestly. He also did a really funny Persian insult line here which is really funny if you understand Persian.
The whole Sleep Hypnosis scenario was pretty interesting and I wish they played more with the idea than just the bits with the room under the stairs. So I'm kinda disappointed that they didn't use the full potential of the sleep hypnosis idea and go wild with it and only limited it to the house, but it was still a pretty good idea for an episode and I like that after 6 seasons this show still have new ideas for each episode and season and they're using every horror trope, and not just sticking with one "vampire drinks blood" scenario.
But ironically, on the other hand, they used this opportunity to recreate the first season's plot that's gonna continue in the next episode which has me worried they're gonna redo the first few seasons (same with Jerry's storyline) and do a lazy copy and paste of their own material that reminds of the lazy cop-out they did with last season's finale.
But overall, this episode and the second one were a huge improvement on the first episode, and they were smart releasing three episodes instead of only the first one because I would've lost hope if I only watched the first episode. It's getting a bit better but still not on the same level as the better seasons of the show, but I still have hope the next episodes will improve even further.
