When being told to leave the catering station, Laszlo shouts "What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal?" which is a reference to a famous 1991 Australian news video of Jack Karlson being arrested at a Brisbane Chinese restaurant. The video of Karlson became a meme because of his speaking voice, which sounds very similar to Laszlo.

they're really out of steam now

Maybe this show should have ended last season, when they resolved the key story arc about Guillermo's wish to become a vampire. When the story is over, just stop.

Now this show is like a zombie, shuffling along and doing some vaguely amusing things. Still worth watching but only just.

This episode included a lot of injokes about writers, directors, and the crew. Maybe the people playing the crew were the actual crew, the trailers were the actual trailers etc? The sort of self-indulgent thing you see from a show on its last legs.

The B plot with Nadja and Colin was just odd. At least we won't need to feel bad that this is the last season. I would hate to see it continue in this fashion for another season.
