CRAZY ANIME
Bro, this anime initially only explains the prophecy that Nico will experience a disaster in 1 year, but in the story, it takes the anime too far from the main story, such as recruiting new friends and focusing on school like wtf, what's the point of that, and there is a filler that is actually shown in the anime, it seems unclear. It can be seen from episode 14 where there is an anime within an anime like what kind of madness the author sees.
Cute, funny, and fantasy!
This is an anime that is an easy watch. It's cute and I love the pov from the female lead 😂 she has little moments where she fantasizes about the male lead falling in love with her and it's so true to being a teenager lol
the male lead is great too. He's the sensible one and grows in his own way. He's an ogre that is starting to define what that means to him and how he will protect the witch as her familiar.
They really balance each other out. It has fantasy, funny moments, really nice animation, and growth of characters. It does a good mix of throwing fantasy and real human emotions together.

best for fantasy viewers
This is one of the best fantasy anime I have ever seen. It is a delightful blend of romantic comedy and supernatural fantasy, grounded in the everyday lives of high school students while introducing a magical world full of surprises. The fantasy element in Witch Watch is not only a central part of its narrative but also a clever device that enhances character development, comedy, and world-building.
It enhances the comedy and relationships while slowly unfolding a larger magical mystery. For fans of light-hearted supernatural stories with a magical school-life twist, Witch Watch is a truly enjoyable fantasy experience.

hilarious fresh take on magic/comedy anime
Witch Watch is majority filler episodes, with minor links of story. Excelling in personality clashes of characters that live under the same roof.
Favorite episode is slowing down time/speeding up Kanshi. Common theme of the creator using basic logic that creates flaws and unwelcomed circumstances for the group.
Similar to That's So Raven, seeing bad visions then try help and end up worse.
One of the best English DUB series You must watch Witch Watch.

A magical slice of life story
Witch Watch is a slice of life story about a mythical assembled family. There are some elements that move the story forward but they are relegated by the daily stories of the characters.
An interesting aspect of the narrative is that magic has to somehow comply with the laws of nature. That clash is both a refreshing as the main catalyst for fun.
The naïveté and magic of the mc is the main source for the extraordinary that also carries the fun. It is somehow a reflection of some popular American tv shows from the sixties. The tone and premises are too.
The special care of details are an extra. Some things may be seen as arbitrary but all have some logic behind. Like the magical experiments of the mc. She has to learn by doing, funny enough we witness her hits and misses.
A weak aspect of the story may be that the plot advances sporadically. But I don't think it is a weakness, just a perk.
A nice light and entertaining show to watch with a variety of mostly likeable characters with some interesting sci fi elements.
