When Wednesday talks with her mother, and the apparition of Director Weems moves the book towards Morticia, the books is open. After Morticia pickups the book, and later put it down, she closes the book. But in the next scene Wednesday grabs the book from the table, and the book is open the same way it was open before Morticia picked it up.
Gwendoline Christie's mark (a piece of tape indicating where she needs to stand) is visible on the ground when she speaks to Wednesday in front of the fireplace in the woods at the beginning of the episode.
Weems says to Wednesday, "and the coup de gras, freeing Tyler Galpin". 'Coup de gras' is a common mispronunciation of 'coup de grâce' Gras is pronounced without the 's' sound. Grâce is pronounced like 'grass'. Coup de gras translates as 'blow of fat' while coup de grâce translates as 'blow of mercy' often paraphrased as 'killing blow'.
The police are waiting for Tyler outside the school with their lights on. Police waiting for someone to show up don't display their lights: it warns the person and drains their car batteries, so they only use their lights as needed.
