I came across There's a New Killer in Town while browsing Lifetime thrillers, and it turned out better than I expected. The story moves at a steady pace and has a few tense moments that keep you interested. It's not overly complicated, which works in its favor ..you don't have to think too hard to follow what's going on.
The performances are pretty good for a TV movie. The lead actress does a solid job carrying the story, and the supporting cast is decent. I liked the small town setting and the eerie vibe it created throughout. There's a twist near the end that I didn't see coming, which added to the fun.
Of course, it has the usual Lifetime feel a bit predictable in some spots, and some of the dialogue is a little cheesy. But overall, if you enjoy light thrillers with a bit of mystery and drama, this one is worth a watch.

I'm not sure there are enough so far... except of course for every other review than this one as of July 20.
I hate it when you're interested in a movie enough to look it up, and then these obvious overwritten AI reviews litter the landscape.
I will give it some time and then check back here and on rotten tomatoes and see what time will tell.
I'm repeating my entire review because I apparently did not have enough characters... Although it occurs to me I could've used AI... 8-)

Well this is not my first lifetime film but usually lifetime thriller films are much predictable. But here when you watch this one you think you already know the plot and then you end up wrong and confused. It did kept me thinking. The direction was phenomenal and the writing was amazing too.
In a town where people are running away from their dark pasts, their past shows back. The diner where most of the shooting took place reminded me of Riverdale's pop tates diner. Loved the mysterious aura of the film.
The actors of the movie were good. Good casting i may say. Loved the lead actress Kathryn.
I would say this film was great. Even though i did expect more killings and bloodshed but for a Tv movie it's fine i guess.

Not everything written here is through ai.
People actually give their time to write and share their real opinions.
Coming to the film I really liked it. The atmosphere was cool. I would say good story.
The actresses were good too.
And if we watch lifetime tubi movies, then this won't disappoint us.
There's a new killer in town 8.

I been finding it hard enjoying lifetime movies lately. It seems anything made after 2019 or so is not great and I usually delete it from my DVR after the first 10 minutes. Well this one definitely surprised me! From the beginning it caught and held my attention. The characters were not your typical lifetime movie characters. The girl Ronnie was refreshing to see someone so different and I stayed with this movie and glad I did. The acting all around was excellent also. I hope to see it on streaming so I can watch it again when I want. Stick with it for the end. Enjoyable and surprising !!!!!!!!
