Two girls go missing in a peaceful village a day after the SAT exam. While the evidence of murder is discovered but not the corpses, Jung-Woo, a model student and the classmate of the two missing girls, is suspected. She confesses but claims the blackout for not remembering anything. 10 years later, she serves out her sentence.

Jung-Woo arrives at a warehouse where the incident happened and falls in great agony over the memory of that day. Hearing about her mom's accident belatedly, Jung-Woo tries to determine the cause while everyone in the village distrusts her.

As Jung-Woo traces her mom's accident, detective Sang-Cheol suspects her when he finds out who Jung-Woo is. Ha-Seol, who got interested in the village's past incident, pays attention to the strange bone she found.

Na-gyeom (Go Bo-gyeol) is upset about Jung-woo's (Byun Yo-han) situation and urges him to go to Seoul with her. As the investigation into Jung-woo's incident from 10 years ago begins, Sang-cheol (Go Joon) begins to have some questions.

Bo-young's mother's request stimulates Gu-tak. Not only them, but Su-o also has a seizure, and Ha-seol feels strange about the village people. Su-o has been hospitalized and appears completely different, Ha-seol is surprised.

The person who threatened Jung-woo with a gun was Bo-young's father (Jo Jae-yoon), who was released. And Gun-oh, who suddenly returned from the US, and the attitude of Police Chief Hyun-goo Tak looking at him are suspicious.

Jung-woo (Byun Yo-han) is shocked by the items in the bag that Gun-oh (Lee Ga-seop) brought. Su-oh (Lee Ga-seop), who is locked up in a mental hospital, tries to tell Ha-seol (Kim Bo-ra) a secret.

In order to block Sang-cheol's (Go Joon) investigation, Byeong-mu (Lee Tae-gyu) provokes him, but somehow the atmosphere at the police station is hostile to Sang-cheol. Geon-oh (Lee Ga-seop) decides to testify about the incident that day.

The shock of Goo-tak reaches its peak due to Geon-oh's suicide. Na-gyeom informs Bo-yeong's (Jang Ha-eun) parents that Byeong-mu (Lee Tae-gyu) and Min-su (Lee Woo-je) were involved in Bo-yeong's death, and the village is thrown into chaos.

The warehouse door opens and the truth from 10 years ago begins to come out. It is revealed that the hospital director Hyung-sik was being blackmailed by his wife Yeong-sil (Bae Jong-ok) after she found out about his ring.

New evidence begins to emerge from the car that the father had hidden. Bo-young's father (Jo Jae-yoon) becomes extremely angry when he finds out the truth and takes out a gun again.

After the shooting of Bo-young's father (Jo Jae-yoon), shocking truths continue to be revealed. Hyung-sik (Gong Jeong-hwan) panics and Sang-cheol (Go Joon) pressures Goo-tak (Kwon Hae-hyo).

Jung-woo feels empty in the face of the death of Min-su's father (Lee Doo-il), who died without being able to reveal his crime. At the same time, Bo-young's (Jang Ha-eun) funeral is held, and Sang-cheol accelerates the investigation.

The shocking truth of that night revealed by Na-gyeom. A dangerous situation arises for Jung-woo, who finally learns the whole truth. The gubernatorial election reaches its climax and the last remaining door to the truth opens.
