I went into this series seeing such good reviews but honestly after 1st episode everything seems in jumble.

Indian series often have very wrong idea regarding cliffhangers as they just leave the story incomplete.

Main villain is shown to be some genius (plot armor) but his actions say otherwise. He is supposed to be cooking extremely dangerous crystal meth but no1 around him seems to notice just 1 example of careless writing.

In terms of police work there are not any extraordinary detective work rather just roaming around endlessly based on sole witness or whereabouts.

Eight episodes are way too long as current story could have been scraped into 3 episodes max and At least a proper ending should have been given.

I personally love the tales where the audience is left to answer open ended interpretations. 1000 Babies is one such take on mystery. If you're comfortable with wanting to make guesses like, "Will there be a Season 2?", "Why did the protagonist do such horrendous things?", "What did the end mean?",etc., then 1000 Babies is just the show for you. With its many twists and turns it will keep you wanting for more. Worth your time. Besides, every viewer is bound to have a different opinion about the story as it is not a story with a definitive end. I would love it if there is a Season 2 as it would be a pleasure to see what more could the scriptwriter have in mind. Definitely a must-watch.

The plot is truly unique, and its presentation is engaging. The story gradually reveals its layers, keeping you on the edge of your seat-a testament to the brilliant writing. The first three episodes are a buildup, and you may feel confused, but hold on; everything will be clear by then, and the rest of the episodes offer a solid investigative ride. The series ends on an intriguing note, leaving room for a sequel.

Rahman leads the show and is decent as an investigative officer. However, he lacks a bit of the commanding presence typical of such roles, making you wonder if a more powerful performance might have elevated the character. Sanju Sivaram is the real star of the series. Finally given a role where he can shine, he proves that with the right part, he can deliver excellently. Neena Gupta appears only as a cameo, seemingly cast to attract a national audience with her presence on the poster. The rest of the cast performs their roles perfectly.

The investigation procedures are realistic, with no gimmicks, fully immersing you in the story. You might guess the twist, but that doesn't detract from its beautifully crafted presentation. The series doesn't cut corners on locations, shot authentically across various settings, adding to its realism. A questioned nudity scene felt natural within the narrative. However, the overuse of cuss words sometimes felt forced and unnecessary, and the attempt at a Palakkad dialect was far from authentic, even becoming a bit of a mockery after a point.

This is a strong series that's worth a watch. If you enjoy investigative suspense thrillers, add this one to your list. Watch it soon to avoid any spoilers that could diminish the thrill of watching it firsthand.

It's good for One time watch. Making is really good.

It is good to see Rahman back on screen.

Manu M Lal has done an outstanding performance. Also Sanju had played his role really well.

Although there are so many positives there are certain factors that could have been improved., Sometimes it's dragging, like for example unnecessary explanations of what happened, which is quite not necessary as we can guess it easily.

Also somewhere I felt lost or not engaging.

Overall, it's a good making, good to watch won a Friday with friends. Keep going... ...........
