    An excellent episode.

Builder Marty Symes falls to his death after an accident at a construction site, initially John considers it to be a tragic accident, but some spilled water and a couple of signs convince him that it was murder.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one, excellent from start to finish, a wonderfully intriguing case, and not so smart, that it went over my head. Light, amusing and intriguing in equal measure.

It's nice to see John come up against someone with an equal intellect, and the eventful murderer came as a surprise. The puzzle book was a nice moment.

Slightly less focus on the main body of the story, Marty's murder took up the bulk of the episode.

An extra point for featuring Allan Mustafa, I am a fan of his, he's a talented actor, always good to see him.

    8/10.

    Episode 4

When a man falls to his death at a construction site. Ludwig has to conquer his fears of heights to prove that the death was murder and not an accident.

By now John Taylor is dubbed by the press as the supercop who has cracked many murders. Something his sister in law Lucy is not so happy about.

Instead of solving murders, Ludwig should try to needs to crack the puzzle regarding his brother's disappearance.

Only there is a puzzle inherent in the death at the construction site. A fiendish one where the site workers kept swapping their work location. The victim was a known prankster who liked to wind up his workmates.

If there was a glaring issue. It was the case of a well known actor who played one of the suspects. It meant they were the likely culprit.

    Great show

Super new detective series, but how can one watch the rest of the series? Britbox only has first three .. bit of a cliffhanger. Definitely want the answers to the underlying mystery.... One twin, who's apparently public situations challenged, must face his greatest fears to find his missing twin....by posing as his twin, and assuming his role as detective. So, every episode he cleverly clears a new murder, while the mystery of where his brother, and his former work partner, have disappeared. And why. Nice layered, smart mystery. It's definitely one of the best new shows on britbox in a while, with all that clever, quick writing found on British TV. You're gonna love it.

    • Trivia
At 25 minutes in John states "and someone from A1, who's gone so far down the alphabet I'm surprised their zone's not in hieroglyphics" is a nod to the actor David Mitchell's wife Victoria Coren Mitchell. She presents the game show Only Connect (2008) which famously changed their puzzle clue names from Greek alphabet letters to Egyptian hieroglyphs.
    • Goofs
Two more Americanism: First, Lucy mentions "Gen-Z", pronouncing "Z" as "Zee" rather than "Zed". Second, John refers to a "Rube Goldberg" device; in the UK, these sorts of things are usually referred to as "Heath Robinson" devices.
    • Quotes

Connor Merton: I've seen a million accidents like this one.

John Taylor: And yet they keep employing you.
