Part way through and still trying to decide if it is a spoof, black comedy or something else?

But the deal breaker for me is the perplexingly well regarded Freddie Highmore. Maybe I am in a minority of one, but I find him near unwatchable, others might be able to tell me what I am missing because, to mind, he can't act and has an intensely annoying manner about him?

I don't know what this was supposed to be - comedy - drama - thriller. Whatever it was it was so overshadowed by political correctness that the action was totally lost. Most of the cast spoke in whispered killing English accents and repeated themselves endlessly. Virtue signalling was rampant - so it had to be mentioned that the FL was perfectly OK with her son being gay - except that he wasn't that was just a one off experiment when he was in Uni - he is engaged to be married now - to a black woman. How many boxes can you tick at once? The story is pure chase and escape and not much else. The jail scenes with David Dencik were more interesting.

Freddy Highmore was weak in this part - I couldn't take him seriously - and Keeley Hawes - she really is getting over-exposed and therefore boring.

In summary this series was bogged down by poor acting and poor direction and complete unoriginality.

It certainly killed my interest.

Neither funny nor gripping so far fetched it becomes unbelievable-yes I know it's fiction-but theres got be something to hang your hat on. Scenery great, plot and storyline 2/10. Nothing in the first episode made me want to watch any more. Whacking great plot holes, and despite being a Keely Hawes fan, her talents are wasted by this mish mash of clichéd set pieces and disconnected story.

If Freddie Highmore wasn't playing The Good Doctor- soggy, soft. Borderline slapstick humour on what could have been a great series. It's not satire, it's not slapstick and it lack seriousness. Flatlining follows some action / fight scenes. Keeley Hawes is let down by script, production and any credible energy. Was expecting drama, got some good scenic photography.

I always loved Keely but this ... A trained Assassin lands ten or so hard blows on her (each one enough to kill a person) and when you think she is dead or mortally wounded she casually catches him and throws him overboard. I expected Leslie Nielsen to appear any moment. Out of reality, total bs. Sorry.
