    And so if begins

Oh Oliver... I'll be very curious what non-comic book fans make of his character. I think they'll do his character justice, but the fact that the writers for this series have done some of the original stories better, it makes me think I could come around to liking him more than I did when I read the original comic run.

A lot of stuff I compelled forgot about reading happened there and brought back memories, but also shook me! The third act was so disheartening, and it says a lot about Mark's inner turmoil and conflicting feelings about his family dynamics and his own morals.

The opening for this was amazing by the way. They took two very minor characters from the comics and made extremely effective use of them, all with music and emotions instead of just straight action and dialogue. It further elevates this season's big questions about what makes person a good guy or a bad guy, but it also serves as an example of what other people make of us through our choices, even after we've made said-choices.

This was beautifully directed, animated, acted and written. The last scene has me very, very scared.

After a heart-to-heart talk, Mark rhetorically asks Eve, "Where would I be without you?" She wryly replies, "Probably still looking for Mount Rushmore." In Season 1's Who You Calling Ugly? (2021), when Doc Seismic was wreaking havoc at Mount Rushmore, Mark didn't know where it was (South Dakota).
