Jessica Knappet, Lydia Rose Bewley and Lauren O'Rourke all appeared together in the Inbetweeners Movie. The film finished with the three of them at an airport, all three first appear together in an airport in Drifters.
Originally, the show was to use the same characters from the Inbetweeners Movie that being (Alison, Jane, Lucy and Lisa) but set several years after the events in Malia, this was scrapped, instead Knappett wrote a new draft in what the show's premise is now.
Filmed in various locations throughout the UK, despite being set in Leeds.
All three girls were in the Inbetweeners movie.
Close To Me by The Cure is heard in season 2, episode 5. Inbetween Days by The Cure was used on the credits of some episodes of The Inbetweeners (a series featuring some of the same actors).
