This episode approaches pure perfection. In MHA, Endeavor was 2nd to none in terms of outstanding character writing, even if he never truly beat out All Might for number 1.
I've never seen a show handle how much a family can be broken by a fathers misguided intentions. It was conveyed in a show not tell' manner. For many of us who struggle with family issues, this was the perfect therapy from one of the best written characters - Endeavor.
His background and story was always for him, not built for the full sake of improving other characters. When the full family came togther, even though I knew it was coming, it still hit me so hard. I'll admit the man tears flowed down for a while. I even re-watched this 3 time in a day. It even made me want to reach out to my father, someone I struggle to talk with for most of my life.
I know MHA has a ton of haters and I don't particularly consider this series top tier. But, I always viewed Endeavor and the circumstances around him as some of the best character development and writing I've seen over showing how much pain families can feel when parents are drunk on goals to the point of hurting and neglecting their own family.
Bravo MHA, this episode was breath taking and inspiring. The animators did it Justice. My gosh, the facial expressions alone.... The background art, pacing, feeling of impending distater.. It was all there and done to perfection.
Bravo.

A beautiful episode with extraordinary animation throughout and wonderful storytelling. Seeing the return of one of the most beloved characters in the series, the family drama depicting each of the characters emotions. All of it was indeed epic!
This season has been so amazing and continuing the epicness of season 6, along with having a better director that has made this season consistently great in the art department. The animation popped off in this episode to give us one of the greatest cuts this season and the most consistent animation this season. My favorite episode of the season personally!

This episode surprised me a lot. I wasn't expecting an episode with that animation quality, everything was good about it and for a lot of fans this episode is in term of perfection the nearest one to * One For All * season 3. Yeah we could say that the first part of it was a bit rushed in terms of animation and lack of details compared to the manga panels ( All for one and All might ). But the second part was the strict opposite. The animation completely changed and was adapted in a way that was never like that before in my hero academia ( the amount of impact frames, 2 colour screen... ) that's why im giving to this episode such a great rate.
This episode is 100/100. The only problem I have with this episode is the episode title and the description. The episode should've been named "Shoto Todoroki: Rising" (the manga chapter) because this episode shows the conclusion within the series - his character arc and story. Just like Bakugou gotten his Rising episode, Shouto should have gotten it too. He's one of the most important characters within the series. Having the episode title and description be given to All Might despite the entire episode being dedicated to Todoroki is not heartbreaking, but absolutely devastating and disrespectful to both the character and the fans of said character.

Due to the large amount of action they have to animate this season, I never expected a single episode to look THIS good.
Todoroki and Iida's scene animated by Yutaka Nakamura is one of the most impressive sequences of the whole series. Animating a whole city with rotation and fov change in 2D is INSANE. Nakamura truly is one of the greats.
Not only was the animation peak, but the plot, ost, voice acting, pacing and art direction all played a huge roll in making this episode one of the greatest in the series. The final scene made me bawl my eyes out, when I say this is one of the greatest episodes this anime has to offer, I mean it.
