Exit Tenerife

The volcano erupts, molten lava pours from the mountain top and ash flies everywhere. Fredrik tries to get his family to safety, with a little help from Jens, Marie faces a desperate battle to get out of prison, and off the island.

It's fair to say, there's perhaps a little more meat on the bone in this episode, this is what I was expecting in episode one, it's taken some time to get here, perhaps the most rewarding episode so far.

Good special effects, it kept reminding me of Threads, seeing poor Fredrik sat on a doorstep, covered in ash, helplessly looking on.

It managed to bring out the darker side of human nature, the depths people will sink to when they're forced into a battle for survival.

You wonder if a tsunami did hit, would people in small boats have any time to get to safety, remembering the news footage from that horrendous day in Thailand, it doesn't seem likely.
