Featured reviews
Great animation and solid storyline with meaningful themes, but the film leans too heavily on non-stop action. While the pace keeps things exciting, it leaves little room for character development or emotional moments to truly land. The lack of humor also makes the tone feel overly serious at times, especially for an animated film. It's visually impressive and well-crafted, but a bit more balance between intensity and light-heartedness would've made it more enjoyable. Worth a watch, but not very memorable. The secret characters reveal is underwhelming and didn't live up to fans expectations .It's lacked "wow"Factor.

From A Father's Eyes: Why Ejen Ali Is More Than Just a Kid's Show
By Harman - Father, Fan, and MATA Operative in Spirit
When I first sat down to watch Ejen Ali with my kids, I expected the usual: some laughs, some action, and a predictable storyline wrapped in cute animations. What I got instead... was an adult meal - served hot to a hungry man.
This Isn't Just Animation - It's Art with Soul
Ejen Ali isn't just flashy visuals and fast-paced missions. It's a layered world built on emotional stakes, internal conflict, and moral dilemmas that hit close to home - even for a grown man juggling work, family, and purpose. My kids came for the action. I stayed for the truth.
Real Characters, Real Arcs
Ali isn't your typical overpowered hero. He's vulnerable, confused, and constantly questioning the system he works for. Alicia isn't a sidekick - she's her own leader. Rizwan, Khai, even the antagonists like Numeros or Niki - they're not just "bad guys." They have motives. They carry scars.
And that's what pulled me in: character arcs that grow, shift, and sometimes break your heart.
Plot Twists That Don't Treat You Like a Kid
This series (and especially The Movie 2) throws curveballs without warning - just like life. There's espionage, betrayal, ethical grey zones. It makes you ask: What would I do in Ali's shoes? What's right, really? These aren't questions I expected from a show with gadgets and hoverboards - but here we are.
Bonding with My Kids Over Something Smart
Best part? I get to share this with my children. We're not just watching. We're talking, analyzing, fan-theorizing. It's a rare kind of show that bridges the generational gap - where both dad and kid can feel equally excited, invested, and moved.
Final Thoughts: Ejen Ali proves that Malaysian animation can compete on the world stage - not just in visuals, but in heart and intellect. It's not "just for kids." It's for anyone who's ever wrestled with doing what's right, choosing who to trust, and finding their place in a complicated world.
And if you're a dad like me? Trust me - this isn't a cartoon.
It's a lesson. A memory. A bond.
One mission at a time.

The storyline quite complex and dark so had to rewatch many times to digest. Graphic and animation got improvement than before. The movement and emotion for every characters looks smooth and realistic. Audio quality will be top notch.
Wau never stop deliver emotional scenes for fans. Every characters got balanced screentime this time. My feelings were like rollercoaster because the plot twist were too surprising. Recommended to watch the previous series with movie to understand the second movie. I love how this movie portray value of friendship.
Overall, I felt pure goosebumps and dont forget to watch 2 credit scenes at the end.

A beautiful storytelling of an animated character trying to understand his emotions and friendship while navigating through new challenges of being a young agent.
Each character being portrayed meticulously and showcased the talent behind the creation of this movie. The soundtrack is beautifully produced and placed at the exact moment that brings out the movie even better.
A movie that is definitely worth to watch more than once and worth watching with both young and old generation. It touches the heart and surprised many others. Love the movie wholeheartedly and impressed with beautiful animation.

As a Malaysian, I'm incredibly proud of this film. Having followed the Ejen Ali TV series from the start, I always believed it had the potential to evolve into something even more exciting-and this sequel absolutely delivers. The overall quality, from animation to storytelling, is top-notch and truly world-class. It's inspiring to see local talent producing content at this level, proving we can stand alongside international productions. I'm really looking forward to Season 4 of the series and will definitely be watching the next movie sequel when it drops. Kudos to the team for raising the bar once again!
