Goodbye, Tiger (2018)

Trivia

Goodbye, Tiger

Edit
Originally the movie was suppose to be called, "Tickets To Van Morrison" and it was marketed with this title up until a week before principal photography. The name was subsequently changed to "Goodbye, Tiger" due to conflicting licensing agreements.
The name "Goodbye, Tiger" is based on the song from Australian musician Richard Clapton. The couple the story is based on was a huge fan of his first album, "Prussian Blue".
Director Joel Devereux refused to shoot any of the film on tripod and filmed the whole movie with the 23kg camera rig on his shoulder without any supports. He wanted to give it a chaotic, organic feel, and spent the majority of the time with it iced.
Matthew Murphy has to schedule the different locations around the length of his hair. It was on the very last day where he shaved it completely for the role.
After a family tragedy, the original actress who was to play Beth, Gabrielle Burke was replaced by Genna Hayes the day before principal shooting. Genna flew up from Sydney with hours notice.
